My Approach

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience across clinical, educational, and leadership settings. I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to my work and believe meaningful therapy begins with authenticity, kindness, and respect for each person as the expert on their own life.

My professional background includes inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare, crisis intervention, higher education, clinical supervision, and private practice. In addition to my clinical work, I have extensive experience in organizational leadership and supervision, supporting ethical, high-quality care within both nonprofit and private practice settings.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, a Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University, and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. I am licensed as an LCSW in Illinois and Utah.

Outside of professional work, I find grounding and renewal through spending time with family and friends, being in nature, and traveling.
