My Approach
My therapeutic approach is multicultural, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs, drawing from Humanistic, Emotionally Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies.
Particular attention is given to the experiences of Latino clients, including navigating cultural differences, language barriers, and the challenges of living far from family or home. My therapy services are available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to support clients in the language that feels most comfortable.
Culturally responsive therapy is offered to individuals and couples navigating emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, insomnia, body image concerns, and stress from significant life changes such as career transitions, relationship shifts, and aging.
A supportive and compassionate space is also available for those facing reproductive challenges, including infertility, pregnancy loss, and the complex emotions that can arise throughout the reproductive journey.
